Two Rivers Park Bridge Parking Lot is CLOSED
Due to the repair of the collapsed culvert at the Two Rivers Park Bridge south parking lot, trail access is currently absolutely prohibited at River Mountain Drive (below I-430). No bikes or pedestrians can cross the construction site. Access to the Two Rivers Park Bridge can be gained from Two Rivers Park from the west and the Big Dam Bridge to the east. The estimated completion date is May 31, 2013.
Construction of a fishing pier began February 11th in the southwest corner of Burns Park (south of the Soccer Complex). Be cautious of construction equipment and vehicles in the area. A detour of the area is available along Catfish Road just north of the trail. Construction should last about two months. An image of the area has been posted to facebook.com/ExploreTheNorthTrails and to nlrpr.org/trails
